Commercio Orders Release Notes February 2, 2024

Enhancements

This release focused on minor improvements to the way the platform functions. These improvements include:

  • Enhanced the quote screen to include options for adding product to an active quote.
    • An Add product button on the quote screen will launch a product search.
    • Product search and Manually add product options are now available on drop-down.
  • Updated the Add product button on a manual purchase order to Manually add product as it is not possible to search products from a manual purchase order.
  • Revised screen functionality so that the quote screen is responsive to resizing.

Enhancements

This release focused on minor improvements to the way the platform functions. These improvements include:

  • Added the ability to clear the search box using "X".

Fixes

  • Corrected a defect in which users would receive an error when entering credentials. After the fix, an error message only appears if credentials are entered incorrectly.
  • Corrected a defect in which Tooltips would only appear when clicked. After the fix, tooltips appear when hovering over the tip.

Enhancements

This release focused on minor improvements to the way the platform functions. These improvements include:

  • You can now add repetition to tasks.
  • When creating a contact, you can set automatic birthday task reminders.
  • Removed US territories from the State drop down list.
  • Added scrolling to the Contact page.

Fixes

  • Corrected a defect in which addresses saved under My Profile were not validated. After the fix, addresses are validated before they can be saved.
  • Corrected a defect in which selecting Product from the side navigation would display an empty page. After the fix, the Product page appears as expected.
  • Corrected a defect with unnecessary error messages. After the fix, error messages only appear as needed.

Enhancements

This release focused on minor improvements to the way the platform functions. These improvements include:

  • Clicking on the Orders icon in the top right corner of the screen will return you to the Dashboard instead of the Contacts page.
  • It is now possible to clear your search on the contact list.
  • The contact list will now hold your query results.
  • You can now click on a contacts website and that website will open in a new tab.

  • Assigning a Contact Owner
    • Corrected a defect in which a contact owner name would appear unchanged after being reassigned. After the fix, the contact owner field populates correctly as expected.  See Working with Contacts.
  • Duplicating Tasks
    • Corrected a defect in which tasks would not duplicate. After the fix, the duplicate function is working as expected. See Ellipsis in the Working with Tasks article.

Commercio Orders Release Notes November 29, 2023

Enhancements

  • New and improved Dashboard that will become the new landing page for Orders. The Dashboard provides a snapshot of where your business stands, along with links to your most recent activities. You can view the Dashboard for a single user, or in global view that combines all users into one view.

    Enhancements include:
    • The task list is now visible on the Dashboard. You can view, edit, add, and delete tasks from this view, and view tasks for different dates. You no longer need to go to individual contact to work with tasks. Tasks functionality the contact level is unchanged.
    • You can also add general tasks that are not related to a specific contact. For example, sending out invoices or calling new clients. Tasks can be assigned to any user.
    • Account completion steps now appear at the top of the Dashboard instead on the contact list.
    • Metrics for the following are provided on the Dashboard.
      • New projects for the month and a comparison between the current and previous month.
      • Active quotes (includes any quote in draft or sent stage) and potential revenue.
      • Active purchase orders (includes any purchase order in draft or submitted status).
      • Total estimated revenue includes all quotes that have been approved during the current month. Average margin and gross profit are also displayed.
      • Projects on hold shows projects that are not complete. For example, a client must delay their order for a period of time. In this instance, the project is not active, but you do not want to close it out.
      • Recent projects shows the last four projects that have most recently been active. You can link to the project from this view.
      • Recent contacts shows the last five contacts that have most recently been active. You can link to the contact from this view.

Enhancements

  • New and improved Tasks screen and options that give you the ability to add more detail to your tasks, and a view that provides immediate insight into the roadmap ahead.

    Enhancements include:
    • A new look for the tasks screen that divides task into columns for Today (includes overdue tasks and those due today) Tomorrow, and Upcoming.
    • Task ordering that puts overdue and high priority tasks at the top of your view.
    • Optional Category tags for tasks.
    • Associate tasks with specific projects.
    • Assign tasks to other users.
    • Task notes that you can use to provide specific instructions for a task. For example, you may have a list of questions for a client call, or you may want to provide information for another user who will complete the task.
    • The ability to duplicate tasks.

Enhancements

  • Updated the Add and Manage Contacts interface allow you to collect and store more information about your contacts. This change also updates the method for Creating Projects.

    New fields include:
    • Birthday
    • Multiple addresses (i.e., home, office, warehouse, etc.)
    • Special notes that are only visible internally
    • Profile photo
    • Ability to assign an owner to the contact, making it possible to filter contacts by owner. See Contact List for more information.

Fixes

  • Corrected a defect with product search filters.
  • Corrected a defect with PO step 2 shipping phone number. 
  • Corrected a defect in which the PO Sharing link would not populate.

Commercio Orders Hotfix Release Notes August 25, 2023

  • Corrected a defect in which a user that is added to an existing account or is creating a distributor through commercio.com is not able to sign in. The defect is resolved, and the sign in process now flows as expected.
  • Corrected a defect in which users attempting to sign in with an expired token would receive an unrelated error message. The cause of the defect is resolved.
