Commercio Orders Release Notes Month DD, YYYY

Enhancements

  • The Orders Dashboard interface has been updated to make it easier to select different user views. 
    • Changes:
      • The user selector has been relocated from the right side of the screen to directly beneath the greeting.
      • The line after the greeting displays the current date and the user being viewed, with the logged in user as the default selection.
      • The term "Global" is now referred to as "Everyone."
      • The dropdown menu displays the logged-in user first, followed by "Everyone" as the second option, and then lists all other users alphabetically.

  • The image size is now included with art file uploads on both the quote and the purchase order.

Fixes

  • A defect was corrected where a user, after scrolling through product search and selecting an item for more details, would be redirected to the start of the search results upon clicking "back to search results" after reviewing. Now, the user will return to the point where they selected the product, allowing them to continue their search seamlessly.
  • Resolved an issue where the purchase order landing page failed to consistently load the purchase order list, leaving some entries blank. Following the correction, the purchase order list is displayed correctly.

Enhancements

  • We are introducing the option to request a digital art proof from your supplier prior to the production of a product. This feature is accessible for both manual and automatic purchase orders, and you may opt out if you wish to expedite the production process by foregoing the proof. Note that this option is unavailable for products that do not require decoration.

  • The issue causing the product results page to duplicate the product list upon returning from viewing a product's details has been resolved.
  • Fixed a problem where contact names were delayed in loading on the purchase order list page.

Commercio Orders Release Notes August 21, 2024

Enhancements

  • To ensure an accurate order history, cancelling a manual purchase order in Draft status is no longer an option. Going forward, any manual purchase orders in Draft status will need to be deleted. The cancel option is only available for purchase orders that have been submitted to the supplier.

Fixes

  • The recent contacts list on the dashboard was not refreshing correctly when updates were made. The modified contacts are now accurately reflected in the dashboard's recent contacts list.
  • Resolved an issue where the link to share a manual purchase order did not open the correct view. Following the correction, the share link now functions as intended.
  • Resolved an issue where filters applied to the contacts list were not being cleared upon navigation away. With the correction in place, filters are cleared upon returning to the contacts list.

Additional Fixes Included in This Release

  • A defect was corrected where uploaded artwork files were missing when transitioning from the Quote to the Purchase Order. After the correction, uploaded artwork files are now included as expected.

Enhancements

  • Industry membership has been added as a requirement in the sign-up process. Once an industry membership is listed in settings, it cannot be deleted unless more than one is provided.
  • Introduced the ability to change the owner of a purchase order in any state.

Enhancements

  • The manual Purchase Order statuses have been updated: 'Order submitted' has been changed to 'Submitted', and 'Order confirmed' has been changed to 'In Progress'.
  • The contact name and project name have been included in the PO header.
  • The draft status is now visible on a manual purchase order.

Fixes

  • Addressed an issue where Custom PO charges were not being displayed.
  • Fixed a bug where password validation was not performed during new account creation.
  • Corrected a pagination error on the contacts page that occurred when changing the number of rows displayed.
  • Resolved a problem where the unsaved changes dialog in a quote did not clear entries upon deciding to exit without saving.

Enhancements

  • The Create Contact process has been enhanced to enable users to refresh the current page, allowing them to make edits without navigating away from the page.
  • Adjusted the background color to enhance the readability of buttons and tags.
  • Standardized timestamps throughout the application.
  • Improved the product detail decoration tabs to ensure details are fully visible on smaller screens.

Fixes

  • Resolved an issue where users were unable to input custom charges in Step 1 of the Purchase Order process.
  • Addressed a problem where the sales tax was not appearing in the external view of the Purchase Order.
  • Resolved an issue where new users were unable to enter their password if they navigated away from the page during profile creation.

Enhancements

  • Added a new status of "Submission declined". This status will appear when a user has submitted a purchase order to the supplier that was subsequently rejected by the supplier. The purchase order will then be placed in draft mode for editing but is labeled "Submission declined". See Purchase Order Example and Create a Purchase Order.
  • The purchase order summary has a new look and now includes the Owner and Project name.

Fixes

  • Resolved an issue in which the contact information scroll bar did not fill the entire length of the field.

Enhancements

  • Added a confirmation page to the purchase order process. 
  • Added the ability to include your local time zone with general company information. This feature will be used in a future enhancement to determine when nightly reporting will process.
    Current users will be prompted to enter their time-zone upon login. New users will set their time-zone as part of their set up process.

Fixes

  • Corrected a defect in which it was possible to add products to a quote from an uncredentialed supplier, causing problems with pricing. After the fix, it is possible to view products from an uncredentialed supplier, but they cannot be added until credentials are provided.
  • Corrected a defect with setting the "in hands" date for active quotes. After the fix, the date picker functions as expected.
  • Corrected a defect with the duplicate purchase order process in which it was not immediately evident that the new purchase order has been created, causing confusion and multiple duplicate purchase orders. After the fix, the new purchase order is opened on-screen when it is created.
  • Corrected a defect in which the back to product search button was not visible on the product details page. After the fix, the button is visible on the page.

Enhancements

This release focused on minor improvements to the way the platform functions. These improvements include:

  • Updated More actions for purchase orders on the project list as follows:
    • The Delete option is disable for submitted purchase orders.
    • Added the ability to delete a purchase order that is in Draft status.
  • Updated More actions for quotes on the project list as follows:
    • Renamed View Quote to Open.
    • Added the ability to delete quotes that are in Draft status and have no related purchase orders.
  • Updated More actions for Projects on the project list as follows:
    • Added the ability to change ownership and delete a project that has no related quotes or purchase orders.

Fixes

  • Corrected a defect in which column headers were missing from the tax settings page. 
  • Corrected a defect in which the process of reconnecting your account with a supplier would become locked. After the fix, the process moves forward as expected.

Enhancements

This release focused on minor improvements to the way the platform functions. These improvements include:

  • Enhanced the quote screen to include options for adding product to an active quote.
    • An Add product button on the quote screen will launch a product search.
    • Product search and Manually add product options are now available on drop-down.
  • Updated the Add product button on a manual purchase order to Manually add product as it is not possible to search products from a manual purchase order.
  • Revised screen functionality so that the quote screen is responsive to resizing.

This release focused on minor improvements to the way the platform functions. These improvements include:

  • Added the ability to clear the search box using "X".

Fixes

  • Corrected a defect in which users would receive an error when entering credentials. After the fix, an error message only appears if credentials are entered incorrectly.
  • Corrected a defect in which Tooltips would only appear when clicked. After the fix, tooltips appear when hovering over the tip.

Enhancements

This release focused on minor improvements to the way the platform functions. These improvements include:

  • You can now add repetition to tasks.
  • When creating a contact, you can set automatic birthday task reminders.
  • Removed US territories from the State drop down list.
  • Added scrolling to the Contact page.

Fixes

  • Corrected a defect in which addresses saved under My Profile were not validated. After the fix, addresses are validated before they can be saved.
  • Corrected a defect in which selecting Product from the side navigation would display an empty page. After the fix, the Product page appears as expected.
  • Corrected a defect with unnecessary error messages. After the fix, error messages only appear as needed.

Enhancements

This release focused on minor improvements to the way the platform functions. These improvements include:

  • Clicking on the Orders icon in the top right corner of the screen will return you to the Dashboard instead of the Contacts page.
  • It is now possible to clear your search on the contact list.
  • The contact list will now hold your query results.
  • You can now click on a contacts website and that website will open in a new tab.

  • Assigning a Contact Owner
    • Corrected a defect in which a contact owner name would appear unchanged after being reassigned. After the fix, the contact owner field populates correctly as expected.  See Working with Contacts.
  • Duplicating Tasks
    • Corrected a defect in which tasks would not duplicate. After the fix, the duplicate function is working as expected. See Ellipsis in the Working with Tasks article.

Commercio Orders Release Notes November 29, 2023

Enhancements

  • New and improved Dashboard that will become the new landing page for Orders. The Dashboard provides a snapshot of where your business stands, along with links to your most recent activities. You can view the Dashboard for a single user, or in global view that combines all users into one view.

    Enhancements include:
    • The task list is now visible on the Dashboard. You can view, edit, add, and delete tasks from this view, and view tasks for different dates. You no longer need to go to individual contact to work with tasks. Tasks functionality the contact level is unchanged.
    • You can also add general tasks that are not related to a specific contact. For example, sending out invoices or calling new clients. Tasks can be assigned to any user.
    • Account completion steps now appear at the top of the Dashboard instead on the contact list.
    • Metrics for the following are provided on the Dashboard.
      • New projects for the month and a comparison between the current and previous month.
      • Active quotes (includes any quote in draft or sent stage) and potential revenue.
      • Active purchase orders (includes any purchase order in draft or submitted status).
      • Total estimated revenue includes all quotes that have been approved during the current month. Average margin and gross profit are also displayed.
      • Projects on hold shows projects that are not complete. For example, a client must delay their order for a period of time. In this instance, the project is not active, but you do not want to close it out.
      • Recent projects shows the last four projects that have most recently been active. You can link to the project from this view.
      • Recent contacts shows the last five contacts that have most recently been active. You can link to the contact from this view.

Enhancements

  • New and improved Tasks screen and options that give you the ability to add more detail to your tasks, and a view that provides immediate insight into the roadmap ahead.

    Enhancements include:
    • A new look for the tasks screen that divides task into columns for Today (includes overdue tasks and those due today) Tomorrow, and Upcoming.
    • Task ordering that puts overdue and high priority tasks at the top of your view.
    • Optional Category tags for tasks.
    • Associate tasks with specific projects.
    • Assign tasks to other users.
    • Task notes that you can use to provide specific instructions for a task. For example, you may have a list of questions for a client call, or you may want to provide information for another user who will complete the task.
    • The ability to duplicate tasks.

Enhancements

  • Updated the Add and Manage Contacts interface allow you to collect and store more information about your contacts. This change also updates the method for Creating Projects.

    New fields include:
    • Birthday
    • Multiple addresses (i.e., home, office, warehouse, etc.)
    • Special notes that are only visible internally
    • Profile photo
    • Ability to assign an owner to the contact, making it possible to filter contacts by owner. See Contact List for more information.

Fixes

  • Corrected a defect with product search filters.
  • Corrected a defect with PO step 2 shipping phone number. 
  • Corrected a defect in which the PO Sharing link would not populate.

Commercio Orders Hotfix Release Notes August 25, 2023

  • Corrected a defect in which a user that is added to an existing account or is creating a distributor through commercio.com is not able to sign in. The defect is resolved, and the sign in process now flows as expected.
  • Corrected a defect in which users attempting to sign in with an expired token would receive an unrelated error message. The cause of the defect is resolved.
